Give your co-workers a shoutout and you could win a $50 gift card! Spread the love and positivity by complimenting your fellow employees whether it was a helpful gesture, a great idea, or anything that simply brightened up your workplace. By submitting, both you and the person you compliment will be entered to win a $50 Walmart gift card each. A set of winners is chosen at random each month. Submissions will be posted on the next edition of Positively MFV so make sure to check back to see if your compliment was featured!
Rules for Entry:
Your compliment MUST be specific, providing 1-2 great qualities or ways that your co-worker has positively impacted the department.
Independent contractors and HR employees may not participate.

Donate to the Employee Benevolent Fund
Help your employee family by donating to the Employee Benevolent Fund! It supports employees and their families that have endured monetary hardships through unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, medical conditions, injury, or death. The fund is 100% supported by the contributions of our employees, so we need you! You can donate money or PTO once you have reached 80 hours. Tuition Scholarship Program
MFV has a new partnership with the University of Mount Olive (UMO) to offer a tuition scholarship program for all employees. This means that you can receive 10% off of your tuition. Combine this with MFV’s current tuition reimbursement that is already offered, and this is an opportunity you will not want to pass up! This is just another way MFV provides value to our awesome employees in appreciation for all you do. You can continue your employment and personal responsibilities all while working towards your degree.
Scholarships apply to all of the undergraduate and graduate programs that are offered at UMO in both seated and online formats. Application fees will be waived.

Get paid for referring your friends or family for jobs at MFV!
Any employee that refers an applicant that is hired and employed for 3 months will receive $100. Applications will be subject to our normal hiring criteria.
If the new employee maintains employment for 6 months, the referring employee will receive an additional $200.
If the new employee maintains employment for 1 year, the referring employee will receive an additional $300.
That’s a total of $600 if your referred employee remains with the company 1 year!
The referring employee must be actively employed at the 3, 6 month, and 1 year time intervals, in order to receive the money.

COVID-19 Vaccine Resources
Effective February 9, 2022, COVID-19 cases will be handled in a manner more consistent with all other personal medical issues. As such, employees must utilize PTO in order to be paid for missed work time.
As we continue to follow CDC recommendations, a positive COVID test requires a minimum quarantine time of 5 days with employees being allowed to return to work on day 6 as long as they have no fever. Employees are required to mask at work during days 6-10.
HR must be notified if an employee has COVID-19.
We strongly encourage everyone to get vaccinated for COVID-19 to keep you and those you care about safe.
