Honoring a Legacy: Wendell Murphy Inducted into the National Agricultural Hall of Fame

We are proud to share that our founder, Mr. Wendell Murphy, has been inducted into the National Agricultural Hall of Fame, joining the ranks of American icons like George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, and John Deere. 🌾

A Rose Hill native, Wendell transformed American agriculture through innovation, integrity, and vision. His groundbreaking approach to swine production and contract farming not only reshaped the pork industry nationwide but also strengthened the foundation of family farming across North Carolina.

Surrounded by family and friends during the induction ceremony in Bonner Springs, Kansas, Wendell reflected with gratitude and humility on a lifetime dedicated to advancing agriculture and supporting farmers. His legacy continues to guide us every day—a true pioneer whose impact endures across generations.

Congratulations, Mr. Wendell! Your leadership and commitment continue to inspire us all. 🌟

Over the course of three months, participants gain valuable education and hands-on experience to prepare them for future careers in the pork industry—all while developing their skills as industry ambassadors and leaders.

Congratulations, Mackenzie and Peyton!

How many times should you wash your hands during the workday?  Answer: Most likely more times than you do!

Let’s focus on personal hygiene for a few minutes.  To keep germs under control, each one of us needs to do our part!  That starts with a task that everyone can control: washing your hands.  Being proactive and washing your hands not only protects your coworkers and family members, but also protects you.  If everyone takes this seriously every day, it will make a huge difference in reducing the spread of germs and keeping our workforce, family, and others healthy.
